What was Welcome Week like for you?
Welcome was like jumping into the deep end, in a scary but good way. There’s so much to do and so many people to meet, there’s never nothing for you to do.
What are your top tips for new students?
- My top tip for you is to talk to anyone and everyone. It doesn't matter who you talk to, just talk, get yourself out there. There's a chance that you'll make a friend for life, someone who you'll go on adventures with or someone you may not see again after Welcome, but you won't regret speaking to them.
- Get used to saying your name and the course you're studying over and over again!
What events would you recommend?
I love movies so I would definitely recommend the movie nights, but I’d also recommend the Silent Disco and any event where there’s free pizza (and there’s a lot of those!)
