Calling all first year students, come over to your NTU Mansfield Freshers’ Fair / Welcome Ceremony!

Here you will be able to meet Nottingham Trent Students’ Union and NTU Sport, and get to know more about wider NTU opportunities. Enjoy a free lunch and collect your free NTU Mansfield hoodie for your first taste of NTU Mansfield student life!

Timetabled welcome ceremonies will take place throughout the day, check out your timetable to find which slot you have been allocated. As a timetabled part of course induction activity, this event will offer a snapshot of student groups and support available while studying at NTU Mansfield.

Mansfield students are also very welcome to join any other campus Freshers Fairs to find out more about the huge range of Society, Sports Club and other opportunities available.

Thoughts and advice from current students on your first few days with us.

Although it might feel nerve-wracking at times, try and meet as many new students as possible. The best way to do so is by joining one or more of the many Societies and attending local events.

I would strongly suggest finding out about the support that the University offer throughout the year, such as the employability team and library. It may seem silly learning about this early on, but with the intensity of a masters course being prepared and knowing where to turn to for career advice and CV writing is a must.
