Book event

We’re WRAP, offering writing workshops, book clubs, mentoring and masterclasses to all students across the University.

Join us for this relaxed small and friendly hang out. You’ll meet people like you who always have a book on the go, or who want to write stories, poems and scripts. Perhaps you’ve been involved with First Story or Open Mics and want to know what Nottingham has to offer.

Hosted by friendly WRAP student ambassadors and WRAP Director Becky Cullen, we’re meeting up with drinks, snacks and a never-ending supply of book recommendations and writing ideas. Come along to meet some of NTU’s writing community and find out more about our free and friendly events.

WRAP is part of NTU Arts – the University’s extra-curricular arts programme.

If you have a question about this event, please get in touch.

Student tips

Thoughts and advice from current students on your first few days with us.

My favourite place has to be the Arboretum in Nottingham – I normally go with my friends and play sports, read, have picnics, play some music and just chill. It’s beautiful.

Your course induction is vital, but so is meeting new people, finding your feet and getting to grips with your campus.
