Where can I buy tickets for events?
Check out our event listings, and you’ll see that some have links to buy or reserve tickets. You can also get your tickets in person from the Box Office, which you’ll find at the City Campus Students’ Union building.
If you’re unable to access tickets in either of these ways, please e-mail email@example.com and we’ll be happy to make alternative arrangements.
When to buy tickets
Tickets go on sale online on Thursday 15 August.
Many events will sell out quickly, so buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment!
As a new student, you’ll be given a Freshers’ wristband at enrolment, giving you access to the full programme of Students’ Union events during Welcome 2019. There are two types of wristband; free (or “Standard”) Wristbands, and Freshtival Wristbands.
Free Freshers’ wristbands
Free wristbands are given out at enrolment. With this wristband, you’ll need to pay on the door individually for each paid event you want to attend.
The Freshtival Wristband gives you pre-paid entry and transport to venues – as well as handy queue-jump privileges – for the full programme of NTSU events. You can buy them online ahead of time, and collect them at enrolment.
Visit www.trentstudents.org/wristbands for info about the different packages available and the savings they offer. This site is theonly place official Freshtival Wristbands are available to buy, and numbers are limited, so get moving!
If you book a place on an event but then find out you’re unable to attend, refunds (minus the booking fee) are available up to four hours before the start of the trip (or 3 pm on Friday for weekend events). You’re also entitled to a refund on your ticket if an event is cancelled. To get your refund, just go to the Box Office at the Students’ Union building on the City Campus. And if you’re unable to get to this location, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to make alternative refund arrangements.
If you miss this deadline, you’re not entitled to a refund – regardless of the circumstances. Sorry to be heavy, but those are the rules! It might be possible for you to sell your ticket to another student by turning up at the event meeting place at the start of the trip, but we can’t guarantee this.
It’s your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the event meeting point on time, and dressed appropriately (for specific events). We’re not able to offer refunds to students who arrive late and miss the trip, or those who are unable join in due to inappropriate clothing or footwear. Check the individual event listing for more information.
