Welcome events - Terms and Conditions

By completing the booking process, you are reserving yourself a place on this Welcome event. Your booking does not enable direct entry to the venue; instead you must provide confirmation of booking to the event leader at the specified event meeting place to receive your venue ticket. Students who report directly to the event venue will be refused entry without entitlement to refund.

For paid events, full payment will be taken at the time of booking. If you book a place on an event but then discover you are unable to attend, then it may be possible for you to sell your ticket to another student by turning up at the event meeting place at the start of the trip, but we cannot guarantee this.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the event meeting point on time, and dressed appropriately. We are unable to offer refunds to students who arrive late and miss the trip, or who are unable to participate due to inappropriate clothing or footwear. Events may be subject to cancellation without notice by the University. Any tickets purchased for events which are subsequently cancelled by the University will be refunded in full.
